MINIMUM AGE
Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years old.

DECK OFFICERS
Minimum requirement: Certificate of Competency as mate 3rd class STCW Reg. II/2.

DECK OFFICERS WITHOUT ACTIVE SEAGOING SERVICE
Can apply for an AB position – please contact the CHRO during office hours for more on our practice for navigators lacking seagoing service.

JUNIOR ENGINEERS
Minimum requirement: Vessel Engineer Diploma, STCW III/2 & III/6.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Our official working language is English. We also require that all crew comprehend/speak at least one of the Scandinavian languages.

ALL CREW ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING CERTIFICATES/DOCUMENTS

  • Valid passport
  • Discharge book
  • Valid health certificate (Faroese)
  • Security awareness/duties certificate (STCW A-VI/6-1, 6-2 or 6-5)*

*Applicants holding SSO certificate are exempted from the requirement to hold security awareness/duties certificate.
